Job Description

We are looking for an experienced auto body repair technician for an assignment with a client in Norrköping. The role involves working in a workshop focusing on bodywork, painting, and damage repairs, as well as collaborating with insurance companies and the workshop team. The position is full-time with placement at the client's location in Norrköping. Start date according to agreement.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform bodywork and metalwork as well as repairs after collisions according to applicable guidelines and quality requirements.

• Prepare and apply paintwork in consultation with a paint technician to ensure correct color matching and finish.

• Assess damage status, establish time and material estimates, and document work in the workshop system.

• Collaborate with claims managers, service advisors, and insurance companies on cost estimates and damage management.

• Perform disassembly and assembly of components, as well as check the vehicle's safety systems after repairs.

• Follow safety procedures and applicable workplace regulations and contribute to a safe working environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• Several years of experience as an auto body repair technician or metalworker in a workshop environment.

• Experience in metalwork, welding, and repair methods for bodywork.

• Knowledge of paint preparation and color systems is an advantage.

• Experience documenting in workshop systems and preparing damage estimates.

• Good technical understanding of safety systems and body structures.

• Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written.

• Driver's license B is required.
